Do you control your anger or does your anger control you?

Stressed young woman in kitchenAnger is uncontrolled conflict and anger hurting your career, relationship or family? If you’re ready to break the conflict/anger habit, Dr. Fibus can help you achieve life-altering results. You will not only acquire tools to identify and defuse conflict and anger before they get out of control, but you will also learn to be in control of how you feel, no matter what someone else says or does. You will learn to be the captain of your own emotions.

Anger is the “fight” side of the old “fight or flight” response. As our bodies prepare to do battle with emergencies or mighty foes, our heart rate increases, our blood pressure goes up and our bloodstream is flooded with adrenaline. Normally, anger flows through us like a river, rising and falling within a reasonable range. But when that river gets dammed—through communication problems, bad habits, disturbing events or other issues—anger overflows the banks, causing destruction in every direction.

People who are chronically angry experience more heart attacks, strokes, migraine headaches and digestive problems. They often have a long trail of damaged relationships stretching back through their personal history, in some cases from earliest childhood.

But anger does not have to be a destructive force. When well managed, it can help us become aware of and solve problems.
