Telephone counseling is the combination of traditional, well-established psychotherapy with a modern means of communication. It can therefore offer competent help to a person who is in need of psychological help but finds it difficult to incorporate psychotherapy in his/her busy everyday life. Telephone counseling offers access to professional psychotherapy for people all over the world who may otherwise have not been inclined to take the opportunity to seek help. Although tele-counseling is not meant to replace the conventional mode of face-to-face delivery, it is an essential and important component to improve the caliber of quality relationship coaching.
